Because they do not train me for this at all. Today he got in a fight with another kid and when I sat him down to write a ‘Think Sheet’ he sort of shut off and refused to move or write or talk for an hour.
I feel completely helpless. He looks so miserable at my camp and I don’t know how to help him. He constantly gets in to fights and swears all the time.
There may be something in the environment bothering him. If this is a sensory problem, figure out what it is. If possible, remove it.

No big deal, I just wanted to share that. I hope it gets easier, my little brother has a syndrome similar to autism, and it’s really just patience and taking it a day at a time. You’ll do great.
