I hear people say this all the time but I’ve never really understood what it’s like. I’m very lazy, but I’ve never been too tired to actually get up. It seems so easy that it’s hard to believe it actually takes energy. Is this a “just me” thing or is it just an expression?
It happens. Given a paper to write, an hour or two of strenuous playing, a few hundred pages of reading, a friend I need to stop neglecting and see, a troll here, a text post to write, discussion questions to post, and errands, I fill every second of twenty hours. I have days like that sometimes. They end. I pass out. The alarm goes off four hours later. I always get up, but it sometimes takes effort.
