Oh, shit. I just realised I still don’t have my driver’s license yet. And somehow if transportation comes up in the job interview… well, that’s gonna make me look bad.
I have a test scheduled, but I’m 21 and still don’t drive myself. Most people think that’s kind of pathetic, especially around here where everyone is dependent on cars because there’s shit for public transport… But driving is hard because I’m autistic and my brain can’t handle that many things at onceeeeeeeee. (/ \) But I don’t think telling them that would be a great idea either.
Public transit issues are difficult. We are in the midst of a transit referendum almost as obnoxious as the presidential race. I can count on one hand the number of times anyone besides myself, usually speaking as The Arc of Georgia’s Facebook page, has mentioned non-drivers with disabilities.
