If you identify as an Aspie and want to prove to me that you’re not an Aspie elitist, then go ahead and tell me this:
Will you shame another autistic for not functioning as well as you do?
Will you shame them for not having a great brain/mouth filter?
For stimming in a socially unacceptable way?
For not being able to do basic things like cleaning and showering on a daily basis?
For needing help?
For needing to stay safe, even on the internet?
Will you?
Will you?
Do you avoid being seen with people more visibly disabled than you in public? If so, do you see it as a problem? Are you fighting your prejudice?Do you let ableism transpire uncontested in front of you?
Do you think you deserve a full life for which some people are too disabled?
Do you act as if congregate, segregated settings are good enough for some people?
