If someone you don’t know or follow likes one of your posts or sends you a message does that mean they want you to follow them? I think this might be an autism thing because I am always asking “what is the social protocol?”
Also if someone sends you a message how do you know whether or not to publish it
I do not publish messages I am told to keep private, messages that seem like information someone would want to keep private without explicit permission, or messages that deal with such individual issues that they are useless to others. I do not publish messages that are about banal, logistical things like planning meetings. I usually keep especially kind messages to myself. I would rather keep them as personal mementos than appear to brag. My sensibilities are my own. They work for me. The important thing is not to give away information others want private. Otherwise, find something that works for you.
